Government Affairs Associate

Responsibilities include research, fact-checking and reports for selected clients and practice areas;  coordinate, schedule and participate in selected client communications, coalition meetings, conference calls, team strategy sessions and Hill/Administration meetings;  prepare documents for client and business development communication purposes;  provide on-going legislative analysis;  scheduling; attend/monitor hearings; create binders; event assistance; draft correspondence for client use.


Hill staff experience of minimum 3 years is required, preferably within the Intelligence, DoD and/or Homeland committees. Comparable experience in the executive branch within legislative affairs will also be considered. Candidates should be able to multitask, demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills; achieve proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat. Travel is essential and can be up to 50 percent of the position.


Candidates should also have the ability to obtain a top secret clearance.
